X-Project is an X-Men movieverse RPG on Livejournal. Set after X2, we've been running since May 2003 and use a combination of in-character journals and email/IM logs. There's a number of settings for a range of play, whatever your preference, and while we accept new characters we strongly encourage people to adopt one of our orphans.

Check out the Wiki and the advertising community to see what's available. Readers are highly encouraged! If you're looking for X-Men based entertainment, X-Project welcomes you to read along and enjoy the ride!

Postcards from the Edge:

For Future Reference: If you address mail to "The monster who moved out of the basement", even if you have the address right, you should make sure to write "C/O Snow Valley blahblahblah" or it will not get delivered. Until much later. Like weeks later.

Apparently Jono is on tour with a guitar and a yard gnome. He sends his regards.

Cleaning house. (And misusing the system, I'm sure.)

Logan, there are a pair of your jeans here from ages ago. If you don't come get them, I will take it upon myself to glue ruffles and little black bows on them, and them mail them back. You will be able to hear my cackling from the mansion.

...Wait. Who the hell are all you people anyway?

I just spent four days willing the bones to come out faster. Now I can't be bothered to make them stop. This is officially my call for old clothes that people do not mind being destroyed by the human fucking pincushion.

What have we learned today?

Remember children, there really are ghosts. And occasionally, they swan right back into your life.

PS: The medlab here seems to have forgotten how a healing factor works. They're holding me captive without cigarettes. Send help.

Homecomings of a sort.

Up until a short while ago, I hadn't been down to the tunnels since I left for Japan. I didn't even visit after I came back here, because I was afraid of what it might do to me. I lived there for so long, it was like a security blanket that wrapped me like a python until I couldn't breathe any more. And I kept going back. Again and again. But not this time. I stayed as far away from my tunnels as I could manage.

And then I went back, because a friend needed help. I breathed it in, rubbed the soft parts of my hands pink against the walls, and saw the dark corners where I used to hide. I went back. But then, I left. I left the bones behind, and I didn't feel guilty about it.

Quick! Somebody go look up progress before I relapse.

One of these days, I will laugh in the face of jetlag.

Is it Friday already? I seem to have just gone and lost a week. Possibly I blocked it.

However, today is also February 15th, that important day where all the goodies that did not find themselves playing a part yesterday's plot to get the world laid find themselves on the sale shelves.

Welcome to Half-Price Chocolate Day, fuckers.

Well damn.

Anybody know where I put my "Application to be Sarah's 'special friend'"? It's been a while, and I don't remember where I filed it. I didn't think to file it under "When the last one finally realizes he's madly in love with someone else."

clubbing, take me out

Re: freedom

First on the agenda:

Get trashed somewhere that is not my own apartment, my friends' or coworkers' apartments in my own apartment building, a hallway in my own apartment building, or the rec room in my own apartment building. Did I miss anywhere?

Did you hear they picked up a stray in Europe?

Damned bastards and their organ farms.

Helping pick a fight moments after being rescued was probably not my brightest idea yet, but damn do I feel better. Mentally. Physically, I'm not sure there's enough painkillers in the world to make ever moving again a good thing.

So, here I am. Back in New York (again) with nothing to show from the time I was away but some scars. Now if you'll excuse me, I'm going to go find a bed and sleep for a few days.
